RotoRank Draft Guides were designed so that you could easily create a custom fantasy baseball draft guide without needing to download any software or to be continually connected to the internet.
All of the RotoRank Draft Guide reports can be exported to Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, or printed straight from your web browser. RotoRank suggests exporting to Excel so that you can make your own adjustments to the guide before printing.
To begin using the RotoRank Draft Guide, you must purchase the $20 RotoRank 2010 Subscription.
Once you have made your purchase, return to www.RotoRank.com and click the “Login” link located in the upper left corner of the web site.
Your username will be the email address used when making your purchase through PayPal.
Your password will be defaulted to rotorank if you are a new user. If you are an existing user and you forgot your password, click the link for a password reminder.
Once you have logged into the site, click on the “Create Draft Guide” link in the red menu bar .
If you have paid for your subscription and have logged into the web site, you will see a screen similar to the one above.
Click on the “Create Your Fantasy Baseball Draft Guide” link to begin using the draft guide wizard.
The above screen provides the user with a little summary of how the RotoRank Draft Guide wizard works.
The “My Leagues” page is the starting point for the wizard. You can create a new league, edit an existing league, or print reports for your leagues from this page.
When creating or editing a league, simply fill in all of the data fields with the necessary 
information. If you aren’t sure what information to put into the field, click on the question mark icon located next to the field.
If you still have questions, just try to save your information and proceed to the next step. The wizaed will alert you if any of the data is incorrect.

RotoRank allows you to select any combination of teams to build your draft guide.
Insert the number of players you need at each position in your league to field a legal roster.
RotoRank supports over 40 hitting categories, but most users will only need to use 5 categories: Homeruns (HR), Runs Scored (RS), Runs Batted In (RBI), Stolen Bases (SB), and Batting Average (BA).
To insure that RotoRank only uses categories you select to represent your league scoring system, you need to place a check mark in the Yes/No checkbox. You will also need to specify a weight factor.
The weight factor for Rotisserie Leagues can range from 0.5 to 3.0; however, it is recommended that new users insert a value of 1.
The weight factor for Fantasy Point Leagues can range from –20 to +40 depending upon the category you selected.
RotoRank supports over 40 hitting categories, but most users will only need to use 5 categories: Wins (W), Saves (SV), Earned Runs Allowed (ERA), Walks Plus Hits divided by Iinnings Pitched (WHIP), and Strikeouts (K).

Some leagues use defensive categories in calculating league standings. If your league ignores defense, then click “Save & Continue” to proceed to the next page.
If your league has a salary cap, insert the numbers here. The numbers on this screen will not be utilized unless you selected “Auction” for your draft style on the first page of the wizard..
When all of the required information has been submitted, the RotoRank wizard will take approximately 2 minutes to build a draft guide customized to your league settings.
If the league is ready for printing, the “View Report” button located in the middle of the page will allow you to print one of the 12 RotoRank reports that can be export to Adobe PDF or Microsoft Excel for printing and use.
Report 1 is the most basic report listing players in order of their value from 1 to 1300. This report shows the projections used by RotoRank to produce the customized draft guide. RotoRank often adjusts projections on a year to year basis, but sometimes RotoRank will utilize last seasons actual stats as the estimate for the current year, unless there is a reason to use some other projection formula.
Use the Export buttons at the top of the report to generate a printer friendly version of any report you view from the wizard.
This is the ideal report for Fantasy Point Scoring Leagues.
Report 1 after it has exported to Adobe.
Report 1 after it has exported to Microsoft Excel.
Use the “File>Save As…” menu to save the Excel Spreadsheet to a file so that you can customize while not being connected to the internet.
You will be prompted to picka file name and location for your new Excel spreadsheet.
Similar to Report 1, Report 2 list players ranked within their position and overall. This is the ideal report format for Auction Leagues.
Report 3 is the Expert Draft Guide. It contains the most information and is organizaed in such a way as to make draft selections very easy to make, no matter what strategy you are using or how unpredictable your competition has been during your fantasy baseball draft.
Report 4 is a condensed version of Report 3 for users who do not want to have a large spread of draft sheets. This guide is ideal for users who want to rely explicitly on RotoRank’s player rankings to make their selections during their fantasy baseball draft.
Report 5 can be generated for any league and it provides you with a high level summary of the position scarcity that exists for your specific league configuration. Use this report to help you identify your draft strategy and when you should look to draft certain positions.
Report 10 generates your draft tagerts for Rotisserie ScoringLeagus. This is especiall useful for highly competitive leages as it allows you to deelop your aft trategy more thoroughly in advance.
Report 11 is another version f the Expert Draft Gde ht focuses on te Top 100 players a each posiion. It helps filter out the 400+ players tht will ae no impact in te current season, plus it reduces nmberof overall pages needed to print out a useful draft guide.
