How It Works
On RotoRank you don't draft a team. You rank players, and you earn points for how well your rankings match what actually happened.
NFL weekly rankings
- Pick a position and a format. Each week there are four lists: QB, RB, WR and TE. Each list is scored in the format you choose: PPR, Half-PPR or Standard.
- Rank your Top 10. Order the ten players you think will score the most fantasy points that week. Players on bye are left out. You can enter each position once per format each week.
- Submit before the lock. Rankings lock at the week's first kickoff (usually Thursday night). Every game that week counts, Thursday through Monday night.
- Get scored. Results are final after Monday night's game, and scores are posted on Tuesday.
Weekly scoring
Each list earns 0 to 100 points. Every player you rank earns the fantasy points he actually scored that week (a player who doesn't play, or scores negative points, earns 0). Higher spots count more: your #1 pick counts fully, #2 counts about 63%, and #10 counts about 29%. Your total is compared with a perfect list, the week's actual top 10 at that position in order.
- 100 points: the right players in the right order.
- Small mistakes cost a little. Swapping your #1 and #2 still scores around 99.7.
- Big misses cost a lot. If your #1 pick doesn't play, you'll lose roughly a fifth of your score.
Your weekly total is the sum of the positions you entered, up to 400 points. Season standings add up your weekly totals (a missed week counts as 0), separately for each format. If you enter more than one format, your best entry for each position counts.

Season-long rankings
Before a season starts, rank the Top 10, Top 25 or Top 100 players for the whole year, in the scoring format of your choice. You can also limit a ranking to one conference or league (AFC / NFC, or AL / NL). Rankings lock when the season begins.
After the season, we compare your order with the players' actual final order using a rank correlation and turn it into 0 to 100 points: 100 for a perfect match. A ranking that does no better than chance scores 0. If you enter the same competition more than once, your best ranking counts.

Public leaderboards show your username, never your real name. You can change your username on your profile page.
